Vanessa Oghomwen Ogida is a journalist, business strategist, entrepreneur, success coach and development practitioner whose professional journey spans journalism, media communications, public relations, entrepreneurship, training and community development. She is the CEO of VOO Communications and Founder of GoalGetter Development Initiative, as well as a promoter of other business and development ventures. Vanessa’s career has taken her across Nigeria, Ireland and the United Kingdom, where she has worked in journalism, broadcasting, communications, marketing, public relations, facilitation and business consulting. She holds a B.Sc. in Mass Communications and postgraduate qualifications in Journalism and Media Communications, Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Enterprise, Event Management and Public Relations, alongside several professional training certifications. Throughout her career, Vanessa has worked with diverse individuals, organisations, groups and communities. Her experience includes working with young people, entrepreneurs, migrants, disadvantaged communities and professionals, as well as facilitating development-focused workshops and programmes. She is particularly passionate about helping people recognise their potential, clarify their aspirations and take purposeful steps towards achieving meaningful goals. As a vision board facilitator, Vanessa has worked with diverse groups to help participants visualise their aspirations, bring their goals into conscious focus and begin translating their vision into action. She is also an author, wife and mother of four, and continues to combine her professional experience, creativity and passion for people to create opportunities for growth and positive impact.
